I can’t believe this year is almost over! It has been busy beyond my wildest dreams, and I have some amazing projects lined up in the New Year that I can’t wait to get started on!
What I have learned this year is although I love so many different aspects of my business, I may have just one too many balls in the air! Between all my custom website and logo design work, business branding consultation, photography and the online store, there are just not enough hours in the day! As I take a much needed hiatus from my photography business (the one good thing about living in the mid-west, I can really only shoot outdoors from May to November) I know something would need to be put aside.
After weighing all the pro’s and con’s, I have decided to close down my online store. All products from now until the end of the year will be 50%off, including pre-designed logos!
What I feel the most passion about is website building, design and branding. I just love taking an idea and turning it in to a reality. I also knew that I would like to offer a product that falls somewhere between a complete custom website design and a drag and drop template for blogging, so I am really excited to announce that in January I will begin offering “BLOG IN A BOX”
While doing some logo and facebook work with a client last month, she asked if I would consider doing some “light” website design work. She knew she wanted to keep it simple, just a few custom touches, but felt she wanted to write all of the text herself, had a smaller budget but still wanted a unique design, and just wanted a place to start from, but had no idea how to get there. This is how “BLOG IN A BOX” was born. This can also easily be used as a small business website or personal blogging platform.
In the next few weeks I will be putting on the final touches, but here are a few things that will be included:

You know I am always changing things up, so I will also be changing up my website to have it reflect a little more of my design work. It looks like it is going to be a very Happy New Year!
