WHAT MAKES HAPPYGIRLDESIGN DIFFERENT THEN OTHER WEBSITE DESIGNERS?
I believe (and I think my clients agree) that what sets me apart is my background in photography and my extensive knowledge of photoshop. This is so important during a website build to have an eye for how images should be displayed as well as edited to make the most out of how your website is viewed. Also, with a background in graphic design, everything is created in-house, from logos to custom graphics, nothing is outsourced so the build tends to run more smoothly and at a quicker pace.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT WAIT TIME FOR NEW PROJECTS?
Projects are given start dates on a first come-first serve basis. Personalized customer service is my number one priority for my clients, so a limited number of projects are commissioned each month.

DO YOU WRITE ALL THE COPY AND SUPPLY THE IMAGES?
All page text will need to be submitted by the client. happygirldesign is also available for copy writing services. If images are needed for the design, please contact us for image pricing (this includes research and preview of options)
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A WEBSITE?
Communication is key during the website building process. If there are minimal changes to the scope of the project and emails and answered promptly, custom sites are usually completed in 30 days from their start date. “Blog in a Box” 7-10 days.
Timelines are always dependent on your diligence in responding to inquires and submitting text and materials in a timely manner.
CAN I UPDATE MY SITE WITHOUT GOING THROUGH YOU?
Of course. All sites are built using the content management system of the WordPress Platform. The back end of WordPress is easy to navigate (when managing your blog posting and updates) and every custom website includes 1 hour of training. Website management is also offered if you prefer.
WILL I NEED A SEPARATE MOBILE SITE FOR IPADS AND IPHONES?
All our sites are tested for cross browser compatibility and are mobile ready.
DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH CUSTOMERS IN THE US?
Absolutely not, we have worked with clients all over the world.
I HAVE A WEBSITE THAT WAS BUILT BY ANOTHER DESIGNER, CAN YOU MAKE SOME CHANGES FOR ME?
At this time we are only accepting full design projects, we do not make modifications on other designers sites.
HOW DO I GET A SPOT ON THE CALENDAR?
For website design, I will send you a proposal outlining the project to be signed and sent back electronically. When a start date has been mutually decided on, I will then send an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your start date, the other 50% is due when all revisions have been approved and your site is about to go live. All content you would like to include (copy,images) should be sent 1 week before your start date.
For “Blog in a Box” facebook and logo design projects, project fees are due one week before the project start date.
